Also the Origin version has a little launcher on it's own which let's you chose between standard and Yuri, but makes it impossible to run the game in windowed mode, using commandline options. The only thing, that still annoys me is, that you can't tab out and back into the game, because the screen will just go black and stays like this, though the sound is still running. After that open the aqrit.cfg and edit it like this: Granted I have C&C the first decade on a DvD so it might be different with. Just download it (link is at the top) and put the aqrit.cfg and ddraw.dll in your RA2 folder. OP here: read the rest of the comments on this tread.
The DirectDraw wrapper used in the video does the trick for me. I just got the origin version running smoothly on Windows 10 64bit following this video:
